PTFE Film Adhesive Tape

Specially Oriented High-strength PTFE Film Adhesive Tape

CG610RS PTFE film tape is a tape using specially oriented polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film as base material. Single surface treated base film exhibits excellent tensile strength. This tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a smooth, anti-sticky surface. Tape creates easy to release surface and adhesive on rollers, plates, and belts. CG610RS is specially designed for lamination machine.

Applications

  • For roll wrapping of polyethylene laminators (Suitable for laminations made in a relatively short amount of time or for thin laminates as changing tapes is simple).

  • For endless belts of polyethylene laminators (Time for changing tapes upon dimensional change of laminated products can be shortened by making a double-layered endless belt by bonding the adhesive sides with CG610RS).

  • Wrapping and insulation connection of high temp. and high voltage cables

  • Wrapping web rollers to reduce friction

  • Covering web former edges to minimize friction during folding

  • Noise reduction of parts where surfaces rub together

  • Increasing wear life of parts
